Do you want CarPlay in your New Car?

I recently have a table talk with friends about criteria for his next new car purchase.  I am quite surprised that when he mentioned vehicle equipped with CarPlay would be a priority besides the budget and other features.

We have been hearing about Apple’s promises to bring CarPlay to more than 100 car models, seriously how many car models equipped with CarPlay is available in Malaysia? Currently only Honda Civic, Volvo VC90 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class are CarPlay ready just to name a few.

Actually, the solution is out there and it’s just a matter of whether you want it to become your choice of an alternative fix.

Few car audio makers have launched their Apple CarPlay compatible models in Malaysia market. One of them is Pioneer, there are three models (AVH-X8850BT, AVH-X8750BT and AVH-X8650BT) available in Malaysia and retailing from RM3,499 to RM3,688.

These model can be easily installed in any car model by a Pioneer authorised dealers or experienced car accessories shop within Klang Valley.
